PWO is a prestigious body of professionals of Okhai Memon Community. REASONS TO ESTABLISH PWO Okhai Memon Youth Services (OMYS) since its establishment is playing a very important role in increasing the educational and social standard of the Okhai Memon Community. Since the OMYS has been running a number of projects, there is a great need of educated and professionally qualified people to come forward and to participate actively in the progress and growth of OMYS as well as the community. Realizing this fact, Executive Council of OMYS in its meeting held on 18th March 2004 decided to establish PWO. OBJECTIVES The basic idea behind establishment of PWO is to share the experience and talent of professionals for betterment of youth in particular and Okhai Memon Community in general. RESPONSIBILITIES To organize seminars, conferences, group discussions and exhibitions on different topics of professional, educational and personal development. To create awareness among students about importance of career planning and guide them towards particular profession. To arrange and recommend scholarships of young talented students for higher education. To suggest and assist OMYS in improving the set up of its educational institutions. To create and maintain database of all Okhai Memon professionals. To provide juncture for job hunter and employer. |
